Grant to contact Fergus of Nga Uru Ora re proposal. If Fergus is still agreeable, a suitable weekend day is to be set for a working bee. POST XMAS BBQ After the postponement last weekend of the barbecue, the alternative date is to be used, weather permitting 6.4.03 HANG GLIDING NATIONALS Discussion regards the proposal to host the next NZ Hang Gliding Nationals at Waipukurau Aerodrome, based on aerotow launch. Concerns over cost of competition to pilots. Waipukurau Aeroclub has been approached, and informally is keen to host the comp there. They require a written proposal of the event, outlining requirements. Discussion regards the possibility of community funding being available? Resolution proposed: That the WHGPC apply for funding to cover some of the running costs of the event.
